Carrado was imported into New Zealand as a yearling. He is an athletic young stallion and an outstanding example of his Holsteiner genetics. Carrado has an incredible jump with huge scope! He is careful and powerful and he loves to jump!

With 83% Carrado MVNZ was the top stallion and overall top scorer of the Australian Classification Tour 2017. He was awarded with a Premium/Excellence Rating.

Carrado is by the Elite Holsteiner stallion Cassini II. A full brother to Cassini I. Cassini II was approved in 1996 with a high jumping index and placed third in his jumping ability. He had high scores for character and temperament.

Cassini II produced modern, athletic types and his progeny have successfully competed at the top level. He has many approved sons and daughters.

Carrado's dam Noah ( Corrado1 x Constant) comes from the well known Holsteiner line 18a2.

This is one of the oldest and most proven motherlines in Holstein. This family have been responsible for no less than fifty approved stallions including Cristallo, Cordano Z, Chambertin, Leonardo 1 and 11, the Corrado son Cliton and the Landgraf son Linaro.

Carrado's family on both sides, boast many Grand Prix horses with much talent! Carrado has inherited the scope and power of the families he was born into.

Carrado's half brother Di Cantero vanter Hulst Z by Diamant de Semilly recently won the title of top 4yo Belgian Stallion 2015 at the Pavo Hengste Competitie.

Carrado's oldest progeny are now 4 yo and showing a lot of talent. They have their sires scope and athleticism and are a pleasure to work with.


Carrado is a modern, leggy beautiful type. He is a very talented athletic stallion. He is a serious jumper for the big classes!

Carrado's oldest offspring are 4 yo. 

This group are looking very exciting as they show a lot of talent over a jump and they are very good to work with.

Carrado has passed on his scope, athleticism and ability over the jump.

In the New Zealand Holsteiner Classification tours of 2013 and 2014, Carrado's colts Narrado (2013) and Oberon (2014) achieved top colt foals of the Classification tour. Last year a filly of his Orietta (2014) was top filly of the classification tour.

Carrado brings exciting possibilites to jumper breeders in Australia and New Zealand. Already we are seeing some very talented youngsters. He is exciting for breeding!

LEOPOLDO MVNZ

Leopoldo is a fine upstanding product top bloodlines. He has power, pedigree and presence! His ability as a jumper is outstanding with so much scope. With his trainability and talent he is going to be an exciting stallion to watch come up the ranks.

His sire Clinton I needs no introduction. He is one of the most important sons of Carolus I. Clinton I is a large framed extraordinary jumping stallion who jumped at S level and has bred some outstanding progeny.


He placed consistently as a seven and eight year old and went on to have high placings at Nations Cup level. His mother line (4965) is one of the best in Holstein. Mother, Waage I produced both the Clinton brothers, and also Hirtin (alias Chica Bay) herself the mother of Levisto Z, the sires of the World Champion 2009. This Holsteiner mother line ( the Ascona line) also produced the legends Zandor Z, Poor Boy and Padua.

Leopoldo’s mother line is one of the finest in Holstein – Stamm 18b1.


His Dam, Sunday, descends from the famous Dorette line. This line boasts a huge percentage of 1.50 -1.60m jumpers and important stallions such as Quantum, Constant, Cool Man, Ronald and Campesino. Sunday’s Sire, Quinar Z, stood in both Holstein and Zangerscheide studs during his career and is the sire of five world champion jumping horses.

Quinar  has 18 approved stallion sons in Europe. Quinar descends from the famous sire Quidam de Revel. Sunday has already had a Cassini I son approved in Holstein.

Leopoldo MVNZ is a very athletic, modern type with a good length of leg. He is very trainable which makes him a pleasure to work with. With his trainability and excellent conformation he is going to be an exciting stallion for the future.
